Kindow Library
Kindow organizes window management around displays, active windows, active apps, and recent apps.
Core actions
- Front Window - Move the focused window to the next, previous, or selected display.
- Front App - Move the visible windows of the active app to another display.
- Recent Apps - Move windows from recently used apps without switching context first.
- Set Main Display - Change the macOS main display from the Kindow menu.
- Mirror Display - Mirror one display to another, or stop mirroring.
- Open App In - Choose where new windows for an app should open.
- Shortcuts - Assign keyboard shortcuts for common movement and Space actions.

App launch preferences
Open Settings > Apps to define how specific apps open.
- Remember launch position.
- Remember launch screen.
- Auto-fill remaining space.
- Choose a launch display.
These settings are useful for apps that should always start on a specific monitor.

Recommended workflows
Move one window
Use Front Window when only the focused document, browser window, or utility panel should move.
Move an app workspace
Use Front App when all visible windows for the active app should move together.
Keep an app on one display
Use Open App In or app launch preferences when new windows should appear on a chosen display.
Recover after changing displays
Use Recent Apps to quickly move recently used apps after connecting, disconnecting, or rearranging displays.
Shortcuts
Open Settings > Shortcuts to configure global keyboard shortcuts.
Available shortcut groups include:
- Move Front Window to next or previous display.
- Move Front App to next or previous display.
- Move Recent Apps to next or previous display.
- Switch to previous or next Space.
